K5 review with high ISO examples

Found this review for the K5 not really what I'd call an in-depth review, but it's worth looking at the full size ISO examples, they look too good to be true.

Have to agree with you Steve. It's a little hard to work out the point of focus, I think the end of the nose is about optimum, but I can't see any deterioration in noise from the first example to the last. In fact some elements of the highest example, eg the cats 'eyebrow' hairs seem to be better than the others. I hope it is accurate, because for me the noise control has been one of Pentax's biggest letdowns and the main reason I've been considering switching to Nikon after 30 odd years as a Pentax man. Maybe I won't have to, I hope so because the specs for the K5 are excellent and as usual the build quality will be class leading.

Those wedding picturews at high iso are astonishing. How much would I love one of those?

I'm making a mount for my soon to be mine k5 to use the ipad as a lightsource.....
that is right iso 1600, ipad as a flat panel light f1.4-f4
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.
