I would like to use my collection of old M and A lenses so a K5 body or similar would be ideal - please PM me - have only £120 to £130 - sorry for being a cheapskate ! Cheers, Gary.

Hello Howard,

I did notice you had a K5 for sale but did not want to insult you with a low offer - I was hoping that someone might have one that functions OK but is a bit rough bodywise, hence a lower price.

Thank you.

Well what would be your absolute best offer?

I have to stick to my original budget - I'm sure that with a relatively low shutter count and a couple of scratches on the base you should get close to your asking price - is it on Ebay ?

I haven't gone the eBay route yet, thought I would try the forum first.
Thanks anyway

Someone donate a K-5 to Gary, we need him back in the fold. Welcome back Gary I've missed your images.

Maybe you could do a whip round so that he could buy mine?

That should have won.

I'm thinking about it.

Especially if you're looking to use with Manual lenses it's a good candidate for a Catzeye

Kind Regards

Hi- Thanks, did you follow the voting for that comp? I thought I was fighting it out with a horse on a beach then a 'skydiver' came out of the blue and won!!!!! Still, at least the prize was donated to the winner's camera club.......................

Cheers,

Gary

Enjoy the K-5; it's a great camera.

It certainly is. DXO still have it as one of the very best in terms of image quality. Dynamic range, in particular, is hard to beat...
Best wishes,
