I've used them a few times, going back a while though. Last purchase was a pair of Minolta neg scanners. They even did a VAT refund.
Best regards

Just looking around the web as K5 prices have crept up again at SRS etc and came across the K5 here for £929 with 5yrs warranty (provided by company not manufacturer though).
I've no idea if the company are reputable etc?

be careful with dirt cheap K-5. It may be old stock with sensor stain, as I have found out trying to save 50 quids and ended up wasting my time. I then went with SRS and everything seems fine so far.Just looking around the web as K5 prices have crept up again at SRS etc and came across the K5 here for £929 with 5yrs warranty (provided by company not manufacturer though).

I personally do not trust retailer warranty, even from renowned retailers. There are questions like: how r they going to repair? How much expertise do they have in repairing as compared to the manufacturer? Etc. Maybe cuz I have had bad experience with retailer warranty. The guy just blatantly denied repairing and blaming it on my misusing or unfamiliarity.

A couple of years ago when I was looking for a TV, Richer Sounds were doing them for £650 instead of £800 but with manufacturers own warranty. Other retailers suggested they were grey imports.
Seek some reassurances before purchase.

I've bought from them a couple of times including my K10D as it was the best price i could find.
They will show up if you do a dealer search on the Pentax UK site for Clitheroe.

I have been to the store and bought a K7 from them some time ago and my brother-in-law has bought a Canon 7D from them. The store is in a small un prepossessing industrial unit ( very similar to Fotosense in Bolton). Perhaps thats how they keep the price down. I have no problems with them but admit have not been called to call on a warranty.

I must say I've used Richer Sounds a lot, especially for TVs for other family members etc and found them fantastic. Their guarantee leaves Comet's standing for only 10% of the purchase price plus they actually have a shop with quite knowledgeable friendly staff. To me they are the SRS of Hifi!

I bought my K10D from them years ago and more recently my little Panasonic Lumix DMC FX 550 (sorry for using the P word)
Both times - service and cameras were perfect, In fact when I bought the Lumix last year - they wrote to me a few weeks later sending me a revised guarantee as they had forgotten to include the 2 extra years they were offering - and I hadn't even noticed!

Obviously sold out of the ones at £929 - I emailed them & the stock is genuine UK stock, supplied with 1yr Pentax warranty + 4 from themselves. I'm holding out for a price drop anyway as I'm in no rush but I'll definitely keep them on my radarPrice on their website is £999 today
