I'm still saving up for the long Sigma lens to try to do what you do so brilliantly Alan. Very nice set as expected.

Many of us will be interested to hear how you have benefited from the new camera over the K5 with your long lenses.

Brilliant set, Alan, but perhaps not so brilliant in that they've tested my resolve to stay away from SRS until K-3 prices begin to drop...

OK, OK - first time out with a K3 and you come back with a (superb) photo of a kingfisher !! Some of us had to wait donkey's years just to see one !

As ever, brilliant photos, Alan - well done. I also look forward to you reporting on your K3 experiences.

Thanks for taking time to leave feedback.

I do like the K3, but focus tracking aside, I've always thought my K5 is fabulous. I haven't shared the concerns that the likes of David (Storm) have had.

But I was looking for a second body, and didn't know whether to go for a K5IIs or a K30. The K3 has the snappier AF of the K5IIs and no AA filter, but with a safety net. It also has the focus peaking of the K30. So, I've got the best of both. And then they've added extra to it too.

Still need to check out the tracking
