I always thought you could buy one or two when the price was soo low and sell them after a month or two from profit.
I didn't bother as it's not my kind of thing.

Still available at the lower price elsewhere. Seems a bizarre move though.
Still debating a k30 upgrade from my k10. My time may be running out to make my mind up

I bought a K30 as an upgrade from a K200D in late November. It was worth buying for the better low light performance, higher ISO speeds and especially for the focus peaking with manual lenses, which is fantastic.Still available at the lower price elsewhere. Seems a bizarre move though.

The current price of the K30, for what it offers, is outrageously low. Even though I love the K200D, I would definitely have regretted not buying the K30. Go for it ..........

There still do appear to be several vendors selling the K-30 at the discounted price. I'm most likely to my new body from SRS - looks like a K5 then.

Pentax might sell a few extra lenses now they've given away a load of K-30s to new users.
This is exactly my opinion too. I got myself a new K30, didn't get cashback because I don't live in UK. But even without cashback, I feel like I got it for the great price. I never imagined that I will ever buy a new body, but I just couldn't resist the good price. Now I am thinking about some lenses, because I have a feeling that whatever lens I attach to my K30, it will perform fantastically.

My K-30 arrived today and my K-x went to SRS with the same Royal Mail driver .
Batteries now charged and I will now have the fun of setting everything up .
Cashback form is completed and will be sent off tomorrow
Its first real outing will be on 19 Jan when I'm back in Dublin again.
My thanks to Chris and his wonderful staff - I always deal with them by phone and they are never anything but friendly and very very helpful.

It's almost as if Pentax don't care if they sell cameras or not...
Best regards
