K3 locked up

I used the K3 yesterday (along with two other cameras) to cover a fashion shoot. Whilst adjusting AF settings on the rear info screen it locked up and would not switch off or respond to any inputs. So I had no choice but to remove the grip and take out the camera battery, replace it and continue. I have never had that happen on any camera. So the quicker we get a firmware update the better. It behaved itself for the rest of the day. I'm using it again today on another shoot and it should be OK as the settings are already as I want. Best regards

My K3 locked up,[for the second time in its life] while I was in Tunisia. I remembered the advice from this forum to take the battery out this worked. Pentax have checked it out and found no problems?
