Details a bit unclear. - title says 2 batteries, photo shows 2 batteries, product description makes no mention of batteries...

Looks identical to the one I ordered from DX.com for about half the price(no batteries though)
Pentax K-3, Pentax K-5.

Thus I think the first link above does refer to a package of items that does include 2 batteries, but they are of he older 3-contact type

Just checked the batteries for the k5 and k3 and they both have 3 contacts
Mine are also all 3-contact types, but if you carefully read the PF thread on batteries, it explains that there would appear to have been a change over time from 3 to 4 contacts to work better with various types of chargers - so expect to see more of the 4-contact types as time goes by, which could be relatively important if you are looking to use specialist chargers.
(IIRC, my DLi109s for the K-30 are already a mixture of both types)

Well the price dropped to £55 with the two batteries today, so I have ordered one, I had two Amazon vouchers lying around from Christmas, so I paid the princely sum of £35! From the pictures I cannot see any form of weather sealing but to be fair I am expecting none. It apparantly will hold the the two DSTE batteries which was my main bug bear, having only one battery for the K3. If I go hiking/camping, for the weekend, it's a pain charging in the field, this solves the problem for me, I'd effectively have three batteries in the camera then, which will do me.
Battery spec has been beefed from recent ones I bought, I suspect to match the output of the branded ones, (Li-ion Battery Info: DC 8.4V (max); DC 7.2V (mean) 20.7Wh/2800mAh) Usually OEM Batteries are specced on a mean output and the third party on a maximum output which is why people are often disappointed when they get em home, these should be ok I'd guess...

No way that is possible, how would the K3 determine which battery to use? and I can't see how two batteries can physically fit in to the grip !!

Pleased you said it, it's what I'm thinking too but the blurb says it does (Although I reckon they mean the second is in the camera) it also says it knows which battery is depleted and to switch, again that remains to be seen, I've taken a punt but have plenty of ammunition there, if I decide I don't like what I got!
