K200D JPEG Settings

Hi all

Would be interested to know please what your K200D in camera JPEG processing settings are

Seen various suggested settings and wonder what people find works for them

Depends on what I want to do? Sometimes I need some small images to email of past and I will go for a one star * low resolution setting. At other times **** hi resolution will be selected.

Provided you have a RAW image then you can create any quality of JPG from that afterwards.

Was thinking more of the contrast,sharpness and saturation settings

Always have it set at highest resolution and resize for whatever application I need to use

I would start at 0 settings on all three and then see if you like the settings. Then if your style of photography needs more sharpness, for example, just try notching it up a step at a time until you're happy with the result.

Got it set at +1 for both contrast and sharpness and 0 for the others
Image tone is set at Bright

Just interested to see what others prefer, that seems about right for me, but presumably its a very subjective thing

I quite like the Vibrant tone setting - closely followed by Natural, especially with deep pink/magenta flowers.

It's not only our personal taste, but also the type of images we shoot. If you always shot in misty dawn situations, for example, your requirements might be very different to a photographer who shoots fashion by studio flash.

I used "Bright" when the winter was dull, but have now changed back to the normal setting to prevent results looking too garish.

I'm using Bright because the Summer is so dull
