k200D image review on cam

When reviewing focus on my K100D
I can zoom in to check focus of pics taken.
Unlike my Canon P&S, in order to look at the same zoom on consecutive images I need to zoom out, change image viewed then zoom back in...very tedious.
has the k200D fixed it ?
cheers

You can't hold the zoom when viewing consecutive images on the the K20 so i doubt you can on the K200 :

Thanks Clarky
That's a shame.
Pity they don't work on the image review side of things a bit

Yes you can!

When reviewing an image in playback mode, zoom in to say 6x, then use the front wheel to go backwards and forwards to review the next or last image at the same zoom level.

Well, thats how it works on the K10, and K20, not sure about the other models though.

Absolutely
However, the K10D and K20D are the only models that have a front wheel
(The *ist-D did, but didn't have that feature)

Wowwwwww!!!! That is a fantastic tip - I never knew that.

I just checked, and not only does it retain the zoom, it retains the position of the frame too.

So you see the same part of the frame as you turn the front dial.

That is such a nice touch.

You may already know this but if you hit the OK button when zoomed in on an image, it zooms all the way out.

Not a great help, but makes switching between images on cameras other than the K10 and K20 a little easier.

Actually it works with several buttons, I just like to use OK because it doesn't do anything sinister if I'm already zoomed all the way out.
you don't have to be mad to post here

but it does help
