Yes, I am hand holding. I always have the SR off on the tripod. If I can work out how I will post a couple of examples.

Hrm that really doesn't look promising. I'm not a camera repair person but if I had to guess I'd say you have a malfunction in your SR mechanism.

Thanks for the replies. The Firmware is 1.01, which I have just updated to but it made no difference. I have just tried shooting on long exposure times, and I can hear the sensor moving back and forward while the shutter is open. It look like a repair will be required!
Can anyone recommend a reliable repairer???

Looks like the SR movement is only working vertically and not horizontally......repair job I'm afraid!..

How long have you had it and where did you buy it from!...a warranty repair could be possible!

I regret warranty repair is not possible. I bought it in Singapore in Jun 08, so it is long out of warranty. I have just updated my location, but Portsmouth would also be an option for repair.

You could always enquire at London Camera exchange in Plymouth...the manager in there was always pretty helpful!...
