Hi all

Just got back fro Focus on imaging 2007 and brought a k10D battery grip, thought i had a bargain at £139 until searched the web and saw it for £89 inc vat. So i will be taking it back tommorrow and exchanging for the Pentax AF 360FGZ TTL Flashgun at £179 or another option is the Sigma Flashgun. If i go for the Sigma what will i loose in terms of what it cant do compared to the Pentax ????

Everything bar manual mode on the K10D, stick with the Pentax gun.
Cheers
Brian.

Same one here..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pentax-D-BG2-DBG2-Battery-Grip-for-K10D-0613_W0QQitemZ1100...

expect to add another £40 or so for P&P and import tax Pete. I got my DL from them, and they are good, but they're based in Hong Kong.

The 360 flash can be picked up for £155-160 from SRS or Park Cameras to name but two.

Cheers

Fraid not Liam - if you buy direct from Digital Rev from their site then the postage and import duty is all included in the final price - £96 is all you pay

Hi Dexter,

from what I can see, it is included in the final price but it still needs to be added in the first place...

And then the postage on top.. from what I've seen on their site anyway.

Once logged/registered it calculates for a K10D + Grip inc delivery & import taxes £712.90

SRS is £798 + delivery

never used one but the Sigma at least claims PTTL compatibility, it should work fully with K10D.

I'd still stick with the Pentax though, I don't trust Sigma reverse engineering.
