Skipped by the strengths, dwelt on a supposed weakness, well at least the Canon was not recommended.

On the other hand, less-experienced shooters will be disappointed to learn that this is the only camera without preconfigured scene modes like sports and nighttime portraits.
OMG not having preconfigures scene modes is a DOWNSIDE?

Worst of all, the photos are soft and slightly washed-out — at least at first. You can extract the brilliant shots the Pentax really takes by shooting in RAW mode, an unprocessed format, and then tweaking the results in a program like Photoshop. In other words, the fault lies in the Pentax’s post-shot processing circuitry, not the lens or the shooter’s ability.
Here we go again.... When do reviewers start testing camera's? If you just play with the settings you can get sharp and vivid results directly from the camera (not that you would want that though...)

Because of the price of the K10D reviewers tend not to compare it to the right sector of cameras. All the other camers mentioned are clearly cameras suitable as a first SLR for anyone who wants to use it as a glorified P&S and then move on to using it to it's full. The K10D is not the same - they should be comparing the K100D to these cameras.
As for Liveview someone I know has recently bought the new Oly and says Liveview is such a pain he has decided it is a waste of space. Plus the camera is so small it is getting on his nerves. Luckily he still has a Ds. He switched to Pentax a while ago, but still had Oly glass which is why he decided to go back to Oly (and the 2x cropfactor was also an issue I believe). I can see he will be selling it again soon. Luckily he has more money than sense.

Surely not, Don. You've got some money, haven't you?

let me put it this way:

between Apple, Pentax, and Adobe, I've got no liquid assets.

Then factor in Gerri, and I've got:

the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you...
A volunteer position at Light Expressions.
What's mine is hers, whats hers is hers....

All joking aside, I wouldn't trust me with my money....anyways.

Got everything I need, except that 167hp bmw motorcycle....
