Good Morning All,
To answer a Q from Merryhampton, I used the centre spot focus on AF'C and just followed on the trigger button, unusually for me, I didn't use the back AF button this time, I've only have the K1 for 10 days and still tweaking the settings, this was its first outing other than a couple of test shots at home.
Thank you for all the superb comment's, I was pleased with these 3 plus a few more, its certainly an exhilarating place to be when they come through.

Great shots, I thin the second one is possibly the best aircraft shot I have seen on the Forum.

Remarkable, Pity there's no Pentax User mag to put such on the cover of. In fact this forum could fill such a mag today with ease I reckon.

Would you care to share what AF settings you used please, ie what number of AF sensors selected? Was AF-c or AF-s selected, and did you use the AF button?
Sorry to be so inquisitive but I'm still trying to get to grips with my K3 c/w Sigma 100-300 f4. I'm slowly increasing my keeper rate and had more success at RIAT this year but all info helps, especially as a K1 is looking likely in the near future.
