I keep changing my mind though; right now it's either silver with brown grip to go with the 43 / 77, or white with black grip (because with a black lens attached it reminds me of an Ilford Film box - especially when the lens has the green strip around it). Probably the latter as the first one won't officially be available here.
Too bad isn't it, silver looks quite good
Maybe silver might come if it sells good in Japan...

Do you know if you can chose the grip colour in the EU or are they all fixed?

No.

Outside of Japan we get black / black, white / black, red / black and navy blue / black. That's it I'm afraid (well for now anyway).

Pentax is keeping a ranking with the colours link
ranking so far.
1. white - black
2. navy - black
3. silver - black
4. red - black
5. chocolate - black

10. black - black

So everyone saying they want black are just old fashion, but considering the average age of the members of this forum we can't blame you

Red white and blue - patriotic for British, French and USA citizens. Our Scots friends would no doubt vote for a tartan version.

Red White & Green for me... Although I'd like the pop-up flash to actually breathe fire !

I doubt I’ll be buying one, but I voted black. I think the four choices available outside Japan aren’t too bad – but some of the weird multi-coloured look more like toys. Although thinking about it that may be an advantage is places where ‘professional’ photography isn’t allowed

My three year old son's Fisher Price kiddies camera has a more conservative colour scheme than most of those available in Japan. I asked him which he liked best. Bright red was the answer, so thats where I'll place my vote.
