Peter, I have to agree: there is, of course plenty of noise, but it's "nice" noise and certainly suits the subject here. The colours remain so vibrant. What's it like at ASA400, my default "winter" speed?
Clearly a good camera...something to which to aspire...and save-up for!
I'd love to bolt one of my old lenses on the front and take it for a walk.
Looking forward to seeing more shots.

It does indeed look very good, did you do some PP on it and was it RAW or in JPG?

Sorry, I could have said - it is JPEG and the only PP was to adjust levels inwards a tad in Elements.

Nice job on the NR Anvh. Which program did you use?
And BTW Peter... yup, pretty amazing for 12800 ASA.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Well here's my shot at it, my highest iso was 1600 so this is pretty good with a bit of PP,
Jack.

Kris, I first used Neat Image but that was too aggressive with the finer details and got too blurred so I used Topaz Denoise. I first didn't like it since the older version created patterns but the new version is better and I also sharpened it a bit.
Jack what program did you used, Noise Ninja?
I think you've pushed it a bit too far

Same session at my mate's gaff after a bottle or two.
This time at iso3200. Levels adjusted in Elements and default Neat Image,
1/125 f3.5
I love this camera
