K-X auto exposure bracketing with timer or remote

I have recently got a Pentax K-X and have had a go at using the auto exposure bracketing a few time and am wondering if there is any way to set a time or use a remote to trigger the sequence - so that I can use my tripod and avoid shake. The setting for the remote is on the same "drive mode" as the bracketing function, the remote and the timer. I took it in to a local camera shop to see if there was a way round this and the only thing they could suggest was an SLR cable release bracket and cable (that fits on the tripod + over the shutter releae button and allows old school style cable relaease). Maybe I am missing something here... seems odd to have the auto exposure bracketing with no time ability or remote trigger function....

I have the same problem with my K-m and not found a solution. I don't even have an option for a shutter release button ! as it has no port on the body.

I thought you could produce HDR within the K-X, same function as K7!

NO way around the auto-bracket with remote problem.

Search Flickr for K-m's & HDR - some folks have produced some pretty good HDR's with them, esp. one lady in Russia!

Doesn't it work with a wireles remote?

No, because you can't turn the remote mode on and bracketing mode on together.
