K-m Shutter Release Button

My K-m is 18 months old with about 9000 actuations and last week when on holiday the shutter release button started to stick down at the half way point. It will come back up if coaxed and then will be OK for a time. Has any one had this problem. I was wondering if its possible to clean under the button but that would mean removing it.

If it is only 18 months old you still have 6 months guarantee on it. I'd take it back and get it repaired under guarantee rather than start playing with it myself.

But that's just me. No point in having a guarantee if you don't make use of it.
