This sounds like the start of the sticking aperture solenoid, but I'm not sure why you are only having a problem on TAV. When my K70 started with the sticking solenoid it would happen on the first frame irrespective as to whether the camera was on TAV, Auto, etc.
Have you looked at the EXIF data for the under exposed image and subsequent ones? On TAV the camera only adjusts the ISO with the aperture and speed manually set so if the speed, aperture and ISO are the same for all images then I would suspect the aperture solenoid problem.
