There is aa 18-135 in the classified section you may care to look at. Nothing to do with me just pointing it out.

K-5iis body £769
I looked at the K5ii body on the SRS website a week or two ago. I'm sure the price ended in 29 but now I can't remember if it was £829 or £729.K-5iis body £769
Can anyone end my curiosity/misery?

They had a bank holiday weekend special body only £725 I think, it is still available through eBay at £749 free delivery or it was up until an hour or so ago.

Tried looking for this without success, it's a difficult one though because if this lens is available in a bundle for as low as £260 new as per my first post it's not really an attractive purchase used at the same price. Happy to see a link to it if you could? There is aa 18-135 in the classified section you may care to look at. Nothing to do with me just pointing it out.

Thanks. I'll stick with the original K5 until a higher resolution APS-C comes along. Will cost plenty I expect but that and tighter cropping may be an alternative to buying a 300 DA*. Plus, with any luck, a few more gizmos to put the K7 owners even further behind the times.

Followed the advice and got in touch with SRS and I've had the following response:-
Hello,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue has previously been rectified on the website, making the 18-135mm effectively £260 with either the K5II or the K5IIs.
The price of the K5IIs + 18-135mm WR is £1029.00
I hope this answers the query
Sorry for the confusion

In case any one else is looking at picking up this combination, I think this is a much more compelling price.

To illustrate:-
K-5ii body £649, with 18-135mm £909, additional £260 for lens
K-5iis body £769, with 18-135mm £1199, additional £430 for lens
Now admittedly the K-5iis comes with free battery and case, but £170 for a free battery and case seems a bit steep.
Another case of back to the drawing board for me, particularly with uncertainty as what is around the corner with potential announcements of K-5 replacements, yes I could buy body only and the lens separately unboxed split from kit for £329, but when you buy together you'd expect to make a saving wouldn't you?
