K-5 body, DA 18-55 AL WR, SA 18-135 ED AL DC WR, DA 55-300 Ed

Since I'm not using the following stuff much at all nowadays, it's probably time to pass it one to people who can make better use of it, and so all of it is for sale as individual items - or as "bundles" for which the prices will be better for the purchasers!

Everything is in very good working order!

K-5 Body
Bought directly from SRS at the end of 2010 and used sparingly since then (I now have a K-30 for days out/holidays, etc. & 2x K-3s for airshows etc.) & so >shutter count is just under 10k, and it is updated to latest V1.16 f/w.

Sold with box, Pentax shoulder strap, 3rd-party wrist strap, charger and unused mains & AV/USB cables, s/w, viewfinder cap (not shown), manual (tatty, but still usable!), & original receipt.

I could supply the original Pentax D-Li90 battery but it is old now, and so I suggest that the buyer gets 1 or 2 decent aftermarket replacements – I would have recommended DSTE ones but they are no longer separately available, whereas Maxima, Ex-Pro and Energizer versions seem to be pretty good and inexpensive. That also means that I can ship the body at lower cost as I don’t have to declare a battery and thus don’t have to use an expensive courier service!

The following optional “extras” are also available, as shown in the photos:
- DA 18-55 AL WR: This came with the K-30 a few years ago and was only used in the shop (Currys PCWorld) for test shots before I bought the camera as I generally use that with other lenses. Thus it is in “mint” condition as it has sat, totally unused, in the cupboard ever since then. Comes with original Pentax hood and front cap, a generic rear cap (Pentax version was not supplied with the K-30) & original receipt – but no box as it was the K-30 kit lens.

- DA 18-135 ED AL DC WR: Bought from Cardiff Camera Centre, used regularly and so not “mint” but in VGC overall with little dust inside. Comes with Pentax hood, lens cap & rear cap, and original receipt – but no box as it was split from a K-3 + 18-135 kit.

- DA 55-300 ED (not WR): Bought some time ago from SRS in Ruislip (R.I.P) and used a reasonable amount - known from experience to be very sharp at the “long end” (sometimes not so with some copies of this lens!). Comes with Pentax hood &front cap, generic rear cap, box and original receipt.

- 3rd-party “Meike” battery grip for K-7/K-5: used fairly regularly with the K-5 at airshows, but not at all from early 2017 since I got the 2nd K-3. Comes with both D-Li90 & 4x AA battery trays, box & instructions, but missing the small clear plastic cap used to cover the interface pins when not attached to the body.

The K-5, 18-55 and Meike grip (etc.) are now on evil bay as a package with a BIN price of £165 + P&P. So the same price here as I'm fairly sure it will go for more than that BIN price!

The DA 55-300 is also on evil bay for a BIN price of £100 + £6 p&p - but I'll forget the P&P cost if it sells here first!

Both the K-5 kit and the 55-300 now sold on evil bay (payments received!) for the BIN prices - and one day I'll relate the "interesting" story of the sale of the former!
