K-5 & AF-360 wireless flash underexposed
It's really had me scratching my head, my previous Nikon & Olympus flash worked flawlessly in wireless, just set and get on with it. I phoned Metz, no reported problems but they did say that upgrading the firmware on the K5 to 1.11 may have something to do with it? Very helpful explaining how the camera communicates with the flash but just offered a few suggestions.
I set the K5 to M, shutter 1/180 aperture to F5.6 & lens to 50mm and built in flash to controller mode; bounced flash off the ceiling, near perfect exposure. Set built in flash as master, back to square one. I must be overlooking the obvious but worried there may be something wrong with either the flash or camera.
I've only just got the K5 & Metz, so still finding my way around, but as I said never had a problem with Nikon or Olympus. I hope this information is of some help.
AF360 knows it is running as a wireless slave and sets power output accordingly. However, it doesn't know that the "master" flash is much less powerful than it is, so the result is underexposed?

I have tried using the following setups with my K-5:
1) Built in flash only
2) AF360FGZ on camera
3) Built in flash as controller, AF360 wireless slave
4) Built in flash as master, AF360 wireless slave
Options 1-3 are consistently well exposed, option 4 is consistently under exposed.
Any thoughts please?
Custom menu "21.Flash in wireless mode" settings:
set to "1 On" for 4) above
set to "2 Off" for 3) above
AF360 set to "Wireless" and "S" of camera, and "On" when on camera
