Longtime lurker, occasional buyer, first-time seller. Dipped my toe in the Fuji world some time ago with a refurbished X-Pro1+23mm F2 and my Pentax gear hasn't seen much use since. The following are great cameras and lenses and deserve to be in regular use; they're just not as good a fit for my style of shooting as the Fuji. That said, I'm watching for the GRIII with baited breath and am still hopeful that we'll one day see an APS-C compact from Ricoh-Pentax that couples the amazing DA21mm to a GR-style body (who wouldn't snap up a GR with a 35mm equivalent, come on Ricoh... do it!) Thought I'd post these here and see if there's any takers before sticking them up on flea-Bay.

Pentax K-30 (body) - 」150+RMSD
Great clean body with ~15K on the shutter and no issues whatsoever. Only signs of wear are the print on the menu button is rubbing off a bit and the foil SR sticker on the front has peeled off (perfect position to be rubbed by my pinky). Fantastic images, great viewfinder. Screen protector fitted from day-one. Couple of specs of dust behind the focusing screen, but nothing major and does not affect images. Comes boxed with body cap, original Pentax battery and charger, third-party AA adaptor (goes forever when paired with some decent Eneloops or similar) and I'll chuck in an OME-53 with a slight split to the rubber eye-cup (not pictured, only just remembered I have it). The pictures of the K-01 and DA40mm in this listing were taken with this K-30 paired with the SMC DA21mm also for sale.

Pentax K-01 - 」125+RMSD
Love it or hate it, the K-01 is a standout piece of Pentax history. This is a good example of the black-silver version, purchased from this very forum a few years back. Has had only light use, with ~13K on the shutter. Screen protector could probably do with replacing, but screen is blemish free. Comes unboxed with body-cap, third-party charger, two third-party batteries and original Pentax battery. DA40mm pictured not included in the price and is sold separately but happy to do bundle pricing for both if anyone is interested. The pictures of the K-30, DA21mm, DA18-55m WR and PK-A 50mm in this listing were taken with this K-01 paired with the SMC DA40mm XS also for sale.

Pentax SMC DA21mm f3.2 Limited - 」150+RMSD
For my money, the absolute standout, everyday lens in the Pentax APS-C line-up. Sharp as a tack across the frame from f4 upwards, colours are phenomenal, rendering has that 3D magic. If I were to keep only one Pentax lens it would be this one. Bought from this forum a few years back, it is in a good used condition. Optics are perfect but there is some paint wear to the lens cap, hood, and focus ring. Luckily for you, I also bought original lens bag and spare lens cap shortly after purchasing so you get those thrown in too.

Pentax DA40mm f2.8 XS - 」125+RMSD
Perfect partner for the K-01 also listed. It's basically an SMC DA40mm Limited in a super-flat plastic barrel with metal mount and no distance scale. Focuses super-fast, optics are perfect. Comes unboxed with lens cap and a genuine Pentax spare 27mm lens cap, still unopened.

DA 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 WR - 」60
This coupled with the K-30 and you've got yourself a fantastic 16MP weather-sealed starter kit. Better than your average kit lens. Good condition. Comes unboxed with caps and hood.

Pentax PK-A 50mm f1.7 - 」40+RMSD
Generic caps, clean optics. Barrel is in good condition too.

Links to images are in the item title. Have tried to show everything as clearly as possible, but if more pics are required then happy to take extras and add to the shared albums.

DM me if interested. If you want more than one item off the list, happy to talk bundle pricing. Just want these to all go to a good home.

Thanks,

Darren

Cheers Lenny! Will put the lawyers on standby

Have to say, very hard to part with some of these, but I致e just not been using them enough to justify keeping them. Will always have a soft spot for Pentax.

Did I forget to mention what a brilliant, lightweight street combo the 40mm XS makes for film shooters when paired with a lightweight AV body, like an MZ-50? This has been one of my favourite lens+body combos for film shooting in recent years.

Suppose the K-01 was the nearest - APS-C and a DA 21 could certainly be used. It could never be completely slim-line due to the lens to sensor distance requirement.

I知 really putting my Pentaxian nerd credentials on full display with this one, but I think when the K-01 was first displayed they had a couple of reference lens designs on show, one of which became the DA40mm XS and another which was a wider angle lens where the rear lens elements protruded back some way into the empty mirror box (making use of the space that was available by removing the mirror). I知 guessing that there could have been limitations with this approach that meant they abandoned the idea, or it could have been in response to the critical mailing the K-01 got from reviewers (somewhat unfairly, in my opinion).

I reckon the design was just too 'boxy' looking, Marc Newson or otherwise! I've still got mine even though it doesn't often get used. Anyhow, enjoy the Fuji.

The only issue with the wide angle idea would be the possible damage done to their DSLR mirrors if mounted onto them. A mount change avoids this problem.
All the gear with no idea
