Just a thought, how do you suppose the swimmer got there?

He was to the right of me and out of shot, he changed into a wet suit of sorts (not a full body) then slipped gently into the pool from a position nearer the waterfall. I got the impression he'd been here before.

I was hoping some one would abseil down the cliff as then I'd have had the Fool in the Pool and a Dope on a Rope

I can see your annoyance, however you need to remember he has the same rights as you to be there.

I did realize that. For the same reason I waited until a family with children and dogs left before taking images at another part of this location and eventually catching up to them again at the "pool" where I again waited "My Turn". I spoke to both the swimmer and his partner who was taking photos on her phone and they were quite friendly, if my camera hadn't been set (filters on) for long exposure I would have offered them copies of any photos in which they could have been clearly recognized.

The image was posted as a bit of fun as I doubt anyone could positively recognize the person involved.

Well I have the same hair style so an easy mistake to make. If I'd had the WG-10 I would have asked him to test it under water

OK.

But how often do I hear "I want to get a good picture, but others keep walking up to look at xxxx" or "those tourists have spoilt my picture"

The photo is more interesting for having the swimmer in it for me than it would have been with out.
