Here's one for you, Batty.
Great 5 page feature in " Amateur Photography " 28 Jan 06 covering all the Pentax 'Greats' of the 60s and 70s. Very well written by Ivor Matanle with excellent photographs. Lots of Tech. info which I know you'll enjoy.
Email me if you want me to send it to you.
Regards,
Philip.

And with a few inaccuracies that seem to indicate that Ivor probably didn't use Pentax...
Best regards, John

Thanks Phil

I did manage to catch that issue of AP. Apart from the few innacuracies in Ivor's article it was an interesting read and any publicity for Pentax is good publicity. Not that many photography magazines tend to give Pentax much thought unless it seems that Pentax are spending 'big bucks' to advertise in the magazine or sponsor a competition or similar (we are a minority in the Canon/Nikon world and I accept that). It's good to see that Peter Bargh appearing in Photography Monthly under their 'Help' section every month.

By the way, the new AP has a very useful free reflecter cover mounted, making it even better value than it usually is.

Sorry-Not quite quick enough yet to catch the inaccuracies, but it was, at least, nice to see a rare Pentax article.
Thanks for the tip, Batty, I got that reflector.
Philip.
