I just had an email from Ricoh Pentax Benelux inviting me to an event here in the Netherlands to celebrate 100 years of Pentax. Various photographers will be there and give talks and the prototype will be on view.
Sadly 28th September is already booked to celebrate my grandson's 13th birthday dammit.

Shame, that would have been an interesting evening I'm sure.

Also, a pity that no-one (apparently) in the UK has had the same, or a similar, invitation - or have they?
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Maybe later if you are on their mailing list/Facebook page? I've bought a couple of things direct from them as I couldn't find them anywhere else, and they were reasonably priced, so I'm on their list. I don't do facebook.
Maybe SRS will be the venue in the UK?
Annoyed I can't go but family first (I guess :wink .

There is one major event in each European country and we are hosting the UK extravaganza on November 23rd.

We will have the prototype of the new APS-C camera (exclusively in the UK) and are currently planning the day.

Once it's all been finalised, I will post details. It will be a large event and there will be many incentives to attend!

We would love to see as many people as possible, it will be a very interesting day for Pentax users with talks / workshops and mega deals too.

And Pentax/Ricoh

That too. Watford isn't too far from Hampshire :.

Don't forget the M3/M25 traffic as distance doesn't always directly relate to to the time taken to cover it - and parking in Watford can be difficult as I well know from visting the Richer Sounds branch in the North of the town, and the centre is worse IIRC!

I do know the UK and it's traffic problems and routes. I've also been to SRS and parked with not too much problem. It was in any case intended tongue in cheek as the smiley suggests.

Not being directly in the centre of town does have it's advantages for us.

If you want free parking for up to two hours then park in Sainsbury's which is a 30 second walk from us - Albert Rd South, Watford, WD17 1PE.

For longer stays, park in the Gade car park, Rosslyn Rd, Watford WD18 0JX. This is 2 minutes walk from us and is ideal for Open Days or events when you might be staying for a while.

@Chris
Thanks for the parking info - should help many people.

BTW, for how long do you expect the "show" to go on?
