Just a thought

On the bottom of this page (and every other for that matter) there is a block of 16 shades of white to black so that screens can be adjusted for brightness.

Would it be possible to add a further 3 blocks of 16 in shades of red/green/blue so that the screens can be adjusted even better?

After all most pics posted are colour not B&W

It's intended to be an aid to adjusting overall brightness/contrast. I don't think what you suggest would be an easy way to adjust monitor colour. That's the realm of specialist products.

I did say "just a thought"

I expected it would be a niaive one but it seemed possible

I don;t think anyone has perfect color vision, so such a system would be interpreted differently by each individual viewer.

But at least we would have set up the screen to display 16 shades of red (from white through to black) and similarily green and blue
