Jessops flash - any thoughts??

Hi,
I've just got a K-m and am trying to use my Jessops 220 (I think) flash unit on it. This unit works fine with my MZ-50 and MZ-60. However, the K-m fires the flash gun but does not, otherwise, seem to recognise that it exists - it doesn't set the exposure for flash, it doesn't use the red focussing light.
Don't know if this is an issue with the K-m or a compatibility one, am investigating.

incompatibilty, your film cameras use TTL protocol and your KM uses P-TTL.

I've still got my Jessops 280AFP (film) which I've bought for £28 many noons ago. To be honest, I was very suprised with the good results. So providing Jessops continues down this line, this new flash shouldn't have any issues if it is used for non-pro work

I'm thinking of getting a Jessops 300AFDP flash unit for my K10D.
Just wondering if anyone has this flash, and if so how it performs.
