It does say "Choice of two preview functions (digital/optical)", so I'm guessing it's the same system as the recent DL2/K100 etc, where you either get a snapshot shown on the screen, or it closes down the aperture for you to see.

The ISO range of 100-1600 is the same as the Sony a100, so I'm (again) guessing that it's the same sensor as that camera - let's hope the different processing keeps the noise under control.

Hang on; sensor based anti-shake, 10Mp Sony Sensor... has anyone actually checked to see if Sony own Samsung?

Samsung provide a lot of products to Sony including digicams, LCD and plasma TV's. They may have considerable influence over Sony.

Oh, okay. I was only joking. Anyway, according to the DPReview review, the sensor is different to the Sony, so who knows who makes it. It would make sense for it to be a Samsung, that presumably would help keep the cost down.

I think you made a fair point though. Pentax claim the anti-shake technology is their own, but the sensor seems to be from Sony, so who knows or cares where it comes from, as long as it works well

Two reasons: finally been able to access my account!

Secondlly: the K10D - yes, I like my *ist D and *ist DL, but this is such a profound step we hope all the defectors to the dark side come back to the fold.

My girlfriend tries to get me to defect to Canon, definitely won't happen if the promise of new lenses comes about.......

Will these new lenses be DA or D-FA I wonder?
