Ist DS and K10

I've (unfortunately) been asked to photograph a wedding for a friend of a friend, I have a K10 and an Ist DS, I'm considering using them both but can't decide which lens would be best on each camera, I have both 50-135 and 16-45.
Presumably I'll get better quality shots from the K10 so the 16-45 may be better suited for the "tripod" shots (posed) and the 50-135 on the Ist DS for candid images.

Any thoughts?

I would also suggest a wide aperture prime like a 50mm f1.7, for low light shots.

I have both cameras, and both produce excellent images. The K10 has the shake reduction of course, and so may be better suited to your candid shots, depending on light.

I shot a wedding in June, using a DS on the tripod and a K100DSuper (with SR) for handheld shots. Seemed to make sense to me.

You may find you can handle just one camera
I managed fine with the K20D & lenses.

I would be inclined to have the K10D with 16-45 & 50-135 and put a 50mm/1.4 on the *ist-DS

The flow of a wedding doesn't normally require rapid lens changes. If you know the sequence of events you can normally cope
