ISO on K100D

Hello all,
Am thinking of getting myself a K100D. Has anyone had problems or noticed noise as the ISO on this camera starts at 200, where many camers start with a ISO at 100. Regards Richard

The reason this camera starts at 200 is because that is what is native to the sensor. An ISO 100 native sensor will have the same amount of noise at ISO 100 as a native ISO 200 sensor set to ISO 200. This means you actually get less noise for each ISO stop with a native ISO 200 sensor. Secondly 6MP sensors are less noisy than sensors with more photoreceptors so images are quite clean on the K100D.
