ISO 12800 on K-5

I did a lot of research prior to buying the K-5 and found that thread in the other Pentax forum with ISO 12800 which looked too good to be true.

Just tried it for myself and still astonished. I remember the days with my GH1 and EP1 which I consider ISO 1600 borderline unusable, even with Topaz Denoise. This is 3 stops faster AND useable.

I downloaded a RAW shot at 25600 from DPReview which was underexposed and had a play with It. it beats my K10D's ISO800 with ease!

Other day I found on youtube, video where guy is comparing Nikon D7000 and new Pentax K-5. I don't know what he took before but said that D7000 is much better for high ISO photos. Such a b*** this photo shows that K5 smash it up, also I checked DPReview, IMHO K5 has best high ISO IQ, for APS SLR
K20D+grip, 16-45/4, 28-80 PZ, 28-70/4, MG, ME Super

I know the video you are talking about. I watched that one (and wasted my time) as well. It's fortunate that I did my research based on independent review with evidence (I even when to as far as downloading all dpreview RAW files for D7000, K5, 60D and GH2 to compare then side-by-side on my computer), instead of listening to one guy's opinion on Youtube.

Truly all these videos are rubbish. Specially comparing DSLR's based on video quality but not image quality. Well it's hard to find good review website where you find true and well done test.
Regarding to photo above, is it really ISO12800?!

Yes, it's ISO 12800. EXIF link from Flickr

In case I wasn't clear enough in the post, I did run it through Topaz Denoise.
The straight out of Lightroom version is below. NR was at default Lightroom level (0 luminance, 25 color).
