This has already been discuss multiple times, even this week there was some talk about it.
The EVF has still a long way to go and it would mean that Pentax also need to bring out new lenses to take advantage of the mirror less camera and I don't see Pentax currently able to support 3 lens line up.

No need to be sorry, we all miss threads and then repeat them at some point.
So dpreview.com lives up to its nickname of "depressing review" then?

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Don't be, I was actually hoping for some talk about this, it's most likely the future after all or don't you think so?
Sorry

I'm quite sure it will happen. Don't know what the possible time frame might be though.

wasn't the best response!...
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.
Apparently.

Perhaps I should keep out of this I just hadn’t seen the Acronym in this Forum before.
Anyway IMHO I think Pentax should stick with developing what it has got IMHO, and not dilute it’s activities with EVF or come to that IMHO, FF.
Stefan, the ‘Low Countries’ are one of my favourite places (sailed there a lot), so I can forgive the Dutch most things
And Kris, yep, so depressing I hardly bother to look at it.

Aren't the 'pancake' limiteds competitive in size with 4/3 EVIL lenses? Obviously wideness would be an issue (the widest pancake, the 21mm, becomes 42mm-equivalent on the typical 2x EVIL crop factor) but they are just the sort of thing that would suit.

EVIL means it's a DSLR like device but it use an electronic view finder instead of an optical one so the mirror is useless.
Since you don't have the mirror you can place the lens mount closer to the snesor making the camera smaller.
The 2X crop has to do with the sensor size but the Samsung NX for example use an APS-C sensor and it's an evil camera.
The problem is that the lens is mount closer to the sensor so the register distance is shorter and therefore you need specialized lenses.
But indeed a Pentax KX with a pancake lens is very small and maybe even competitive enough against most evil camera's.
