My last dog-related post was rather sadder, announcing the passing of Lucky

Alas a new companion has now arrived, not to replace her, but to start a new chapter in both our lives. Here's Toby, a 1 year old Spaniel/Collie cross, I don't think I've seen him tired once in the 3 weeks I've had him

So here he is, he just about managed to stay still long enough for me to fire a few shots away.

Congratulations! Your new companion looks gorgeous. I wish you many, many happy years together.

I love collies and all black and white dogs. My Silke was a Friese Stabijhoun and I miss her every day, even though I still have Timber to keep me active.

Thanks Gwyn, if Toby enjoys such a long life as Lucky, I'll be only a year or so shy of my own 60th
