Interval shooting?

When I had my Optio 550 I could set the camera to do time lapse photography, something that the DSLRs wont do. So...


Has anybody used or had experience with timer remote switches such as this?

Any suggestions as to quality or which to try thankfully received.

Yes, it's very good and will probably be all you need in a timer.

The K20D does do interval shooting but has (I think) a max of 99 frames.

With this device you can preset a number of frames or continuous (no limit).

I still have my Pentax TS-110 Timer release which I used on my MZ-S. I just cut the cable and used a 2.5mm jack plug and socket so I could use it on both the MZ-S and my istD and KxxD series bodies.




However, the K20D has a built in interval timer (not on the K10D) that can be set up to 99 shots at intervals from 1 sec to 24 hours and commence from "now" to a pre-set time up to 24 hours in advance, so I don't really need the TS-110 any more.

That's another item that can go up on eBay, or the items for sale section in this forum! I've been having a clear out recently and it's staggering how much stuff I've bought and sold over the last few years!

I don't think it has a built-in clock to set the commencement of shooting. The K20D has this facility, as does the TS-110 release timer.

Shame Pentax didn't put it on the K200d(mine) or K-m, they seem to be missing a trick here.

I think you are right Richard, but that's not a deal breaker for me.

I know it was a dumb question Mannesty but ebay dealers change name when they get a few to many negs. I was wondering if they were one that had.

I haven't used them myself but I've known the LinkDelight name for many years of ebay trading. I think you can trust them.

Yes they have a few negative FB's but then again they have more than 35000 positives.

Old name gives me confidence, may order from them.
