Drop box is ok, you get a couple of gig free. There wont be free unlimited storage because it has to be on real actual hard drive somewhere so there are costs.
One day you'll find, 10yrs have got behind you.

I used drop box, but prefer Microsoft skydrive. Being an early user I get 25 gig free, not sure what the free limit is now.
Cheapest way is to buy your own we space, i pay around £40 a year for unlimited space and bandwidth...

I am using MS Skydrive with 25GB of free space. It's excellent and the cost to purchase further space is reasonable.
25GB is about 1000 raw files worth.
I use it to backup my best 'precious' raw files of which I will only ever have 250 or so. That leaves me plenty of space to backup further full size JPEGS and to create and share lower res web galleries.

Ahh yes I forgot about skydrive, think I have 25gig to.
I pay £4 a month for my space that claims to be unlimited, not tested that yet though!

Do you mean just storage or storing/viewing reduce sized versions of your images?
Google+ seems better than flickr - images are resized to 2048 pixels a bit like flickr, but there's no limit.
You can upload larger images to Google+ via Picasa, but there is a 1GB limit for such images.
You could always email the images to yourself on Gmail - the storage limit there is 10GB or something!

The May 2012 edition of WebUser magazine ran a comparative article for online storage & sync services - I guess it will be available on their website. The results were :
Google Drive - Gold award
Mozy Stash - Silver
Microsoft Skydrive - Bronze
A few others rated good were Dropbox, Justcloud, Livedrive Briefcase.
I chose to try Microsoft skydrive, because according to the magazine it offers the best bang per buck in terms of price per GB. Also I feel reasonably secure with Microsoft in terms of their financial security for the longer term and keeping the service going.

I currently use Picassa, Photobook and flickr but they all ask after you have filled the minimum starage.
