If it fits in a pocket with a 35mm lens it would make a great street camera, but there again...

....it's not Pentax

If you are lucky. Looks that it is lcd screen only. They should provide separate viewfinders matching the lenses. Clip on type for hot shoe. Than ....it would be a real gem............One can dream, right??

Martin.

I'm already happy if you've some kind of good manual controll, I don't mind being an evil since it isn't really trying to be a SLR like panasonic G1.

Isn't that the mock up that was shown at the same time as the E-30 (before it was named as an E-30)?
If it is it's really no more than a space model. Having said that it is a neat concept and if it comes market could be very tempting
Oly make some great kit, I'm still fan even though all mines currently up on eBay

Isn't the Sigma DP1 or something very much like this with a clip on viewfinder?

Has a decent sized sensor as well.

To echo Greytop, Oly lenses are well thought of, both old and new.

Is the concept a rangefinder style, that would sell me one!

My local dealers doing them for 50 Pounds..... He's always cheap
on stuff he hasn't got

Why are you talking about a camera that doesn't even exist

Looks like the Nikon 600 (made by Panasonic 10 years ago.. my 1st digital) except
instead of the lens falling off you screw it off

Must admit I've not noticed any rumblings about it on Oly forums, not that I frequent them as much these days.
But if it is released it would make a seriously good compact tool (4/3 sensor in a compact package)

We Pentaxians have the edge since we know how to read Japanese
link
The topman of Olympus has told it when annoucing their profit of the year.
The camera would be a little bit differend then the photos here but not much since the PEN-line was their inspiration source link
So yes most likely it will be this small and in the first week of Juli you can buy it in Japan.

ps. on 15 Juni they will anounce the camera not bring it out, sorry for that.
