I was wondering can you fire off more than one camera with the same remote?
If we were to get loads of Pentax togs together with the same camera and lined them all up in an arc would it be possible to create a Matrix type picture?

Don't see why not - the IR remotes are not tuned to any one camera. The problem would be the spread of the IR signal and this you would need to find by experimentation with a couple of cameras?

The best for this would not be IR Remotes but radio triggers set to the same frequency. IR remotes are not reliable enough and have to be used very close to the camera, whereas good radio triggers will work reliably at long distance, up to 100m away or even more. You would need one transmitter and multiple receivers, one for each slave camera.
