Pentax User club offers insurance. No idea if it is any good though as I have my stuff insured here in the Netherlands, through the broadcasting organisation - full professional coverage at a good price.
Check the small print on any policy - many exclude leaving your camera in a car or hotel room, and some even exclude things being stolen from your camera bag whilst you are taking photographs, arguing you are not taking good care of your gear.
Some home insurance policies can be extended to cover valuables, which whilst your are living at home may be the best option for you if your parents agree to it.

Yeah my parents tried putting it on home insurance but it won't cover it out and about. I've found one which is pretty much full cover, theft, accidental damage etc with new for old, working inside the EU and worldwide for upto 30 days at a time.
Cheaper ones have new for old when the item is 2 years from new or less, so any old lenses I buy would not be covered.

www.gloverhowe.co.uk/ is the company effectively recommended by Pentax User, and you'll get a £7 discount if you're a subscriber of the magazine.
The premiums are reasonable, the service good, and the small print is minimal.

I went with Aaduki insurance. Very helpful - and they can do public liability insurance too at a reasonable price for photogs.
Quite high excess, but relatively low premiums.
