Yes on a friend's CANNON but in in the *ist DL2 you had to be in front and thus decided against as it no use in macro photography so I went to the cable unit.
Strange how small they have become as for my MINOLTA 7000 it had to have a unit the size of their flash gun in the hotehoe and then something the size of a tele remote to fire one think is so big you did not loose the units.

The cheapo multi-brand IR remote I bought from a Hong Kong ebay seller works with my *ist DS and Optio S5i.
I haven't used it enough to know if it's reliable in the long run.

Has anyone used an infra red remote control for K10D that are advertised cheaply on Ebay?
Do they work properly and are they reliable?
