mph that is.

Trying something different with my DS, kit lens and Hoya R72 filter.

Converted in PhotoShop, custom white balance set in camera.

Love the sense of movement at speed.

#1 stands out as the best, but all amazing shots!!! - Most artistic.

I must do some "at speed" shots soon. It's a great effect

These are absolutely great! I think the last is my favourite, but also no.3 with the oncoming car!

No.4 does it for me. It's like a work of art, wait, it is a work of art!

Fantastic shots, the false colour just makes them even more surreal. I like no. 4 the best due to the extreme simplicity. I'm hoping that no. 3 was taken out of the rear window...

Did you realise that the fortnightly competition is 'Blur' ?

Graet stuff! #2 for me, I love the composition and the rushing effect, and there's just enough of the trees showing that you can work out what it is.

I like the 4, it's completely dreamy and abstract.

I tried something vaguely similar (without IR) on Saturday, but this beats it hand down.

Thank you all for the kind comments. So glad you like them.

My personnal favs are 3 and 4, 4 is taken out the side window, it's a large obelisk just outside Kelso in the Scottish Borders.

All the rest are taken out the front window (whilst I was a passenger at the time I might add! )

Loving infrared, just wanting more sunny days now!
Cheers

I have tried to take Images with my Pentax K100D using a fairly cheap Infrared Filter. Not really knowing just what type of filter to use, the Images came out stupid! I know next to nothing about Infrared Images, but I gave it a try. Never could seem to get it right, so I stopped trying. I just love the colors with Infrared. It's a whole different ball game. Maybe sometime I'll get one of those Hoya R72 Filters, and give it another try. Those are nice shots. I sorta like them all.

Les

I'm just full of questions . . . It's the only way I learn anything! I have so, so, much to learn using my Pentax K100D DSLR
