Cheap light tent Fun.
Equipment list:
Pentax ist ds2, 360 ftz flash, off camera cord 5p, hot-shoe adapters fg and f, tripod and light-stand, one square ceramic floor tile ($1.59 Cdn), one can soda ($0.35 Cdn), 1 collapsable laundry hamper ($8.99 Cdn), frozen fruit (approx. $0.50 Cdn).

ok, ok I know that the images will progressively better by the end of the night....but I'm eager to share the idea abot the light tent!
the laundry hampers can be had at superstore, wallmart and many other places for a few bucks...
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Well thanks a bunch Don, you just got me a right earful, the wife came home and found the laundry all over the floor and me cutting hole in the hamper ....I'll never follow your advice again

Hi Don,

I'm really impressed with your results from that setup. It's a great idea. I'll be scouring my local supermarket for a light tent, & if I'm lucky perhaps they'll be stocking tripods & lighting stands cleverly disguised as kitchenware...

Well you could do worse than get some uPVC tubing and some T and L connectors and build some stands...
