In real life. Will 'moire' really be a problem?

There seems to be countless threads on the other forum about the possible moire effect on the mk2s...

In an everyday/real life shooting situation how much of an issue is this really going to be?

Are the 'must-haves' just freaking out over now't?

Probably not. Lightroom can remove it for the odd image that exhibits it anyway. Nothing I'd worry about

Well... The 645D and Q already have no AA filter

Moire occurs when the frequency of the image approaches the resolution of the sensor. My understanding is that it was more of a problem at lower sensor resolutions. It's not impossible to get moire but seems pretty tricky, and when it does LR will at least remove colour moire easily.

I can see a rash of pictures of people with 1970s-style herringbone jackets on its way! The sort that newsreaders used to wear before TV sets could handle the dreadful moire effects.

I'm sure that resolutions are now high enough to make moire a less likely problem even with no AA filter. Hence the appearance of cameras with no AA filter.
Best regards, John
