I prefer the less contrasty ones myself, they really show the detail in the pitted surfaces, whereas I think you lose some of that with the higher contrast.

My only thought about the 4 images together, is that no.4 looks a little soft in comparison with the others. A little camera shake perhaps? Just doesn't seem to me to have the same crispness to it.

I like the images though - I'm a texture kind of guy.
