In camera Lens correction
I plan to use it when needed when we have our K-5s.

tried this on my new K7 and I can't see any difference with it ON or OFF !?

it says you can save and use with a raw image, but only if developed in camera ! is that correct ??
Just had a look at the manual and thats how I read it. Data saved in RAW file and for In-camera processing. In that case I'll leave it turned off and use LR instead. Shame but I guess maybe we expect too much sometimes!

Doesn't the RAW program suplied also have lens correction?
Any ways for lens correction you need to know which lens is on it, the focal length you use if you use a zoom and the camera you used and all that is already recorded in the EXIF data, and so as far as i know no extra data is being giving to a RAW file if you've the corrections on.
But please prove me wrong

This was most noticeable when I was trying to shoot some friends at Go Ape not long ago, and wanted to use machine gun mode for zip-lines etc. I only got every other person, as I was waiting ages for the camera to process the buffer each time.
Not had a chance to try an "on" and "off" shot to see how much difference it actually makes. In future though, for time critical shots, it's going to be switched off...
