Once Barrie posted his image of Burnhope Reservoir and Mrs K10D saw it, I was asked "why haven't you taken me there"?

So today we went since the weather was perfect.

Then on to Groverake Mine

Weather was perfect all day. The area is a must visit as its abundant with outstanding scenery. Thanks Barrie.

Best regards

You are welcome Gary, always pays to keep on the right side of the good lady. Did you spot Wolf Cleugh, the derelict farm between Grove Rake and Rookhope?

I did see it Barrie, just a little unsure about doing past a locked gate to walk down to it. It's on the list though.

Best regards
