2 from today. I think I prefer the opening image!

Both K1 and Irix 15mm

Number 1 for me as well Gareth. The white flecked water further up the beach gives it more impact along with the great clouds.

The composition works better in no.1 (for me) along with the greater range of tones, and the tide line never leaves the frame but brushes the edge of it. That's in addition to Pauls spot on comments

Agree with you, Gareth, as well as with previous comments. No.1 for sure. I find the clouds give an impression of brooding menace which I like. Then there's the calm of the sea. Great stuff.
Be well, stay well.

Agreed.

Perhaps crop No.2 to where the white wave line meets the edge pf the frame?

Yup, no 1 it is. The tide from the corner of across the frame but not leaving it (as John said) makes the image. Nicely done Sir. 15mm on "full frame" is a challenging focal length.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks all, yeah, pic 2 has a different composition as I didn't want to put up 2 images pretty much the same so I included the seaweed and placed it on the 3rd.
I did debate selling it Kris as it's a focal length that can be hard to use but when you do and you get it right then it's an awesome focal length.
