On Sunday the wife said her camera was not working properly after a fall she had a couple of weeks ago so obviously she had knocked her camera phoned the insurance company late Monday for them to say just missed the curriers so it would be picked up Wednesday today is Thursday and they have said beyond economical repair so a new camera was offered of the latest version and will be delivered tomorrow

Same thing happened to me with my K1... Awful service from Johnsons. To say it was beyond economical repair.. Contacted my insurance company. Ten minutes later a guy rang me back. looked up the value of the K1 and grip on Amazon.. Transferred the value into my bank account instantly.. Perfect service from my insurers..

After getting wet and being ruled uneconomical to repair my camera dried out and has 90% come back to life of its own accord... But last night I purchased a new one from Wex for almost half price.. So in general im very happy..
