Image Stabilizing

Can anyone help, with the in built image stabilizing in my Km, would the image Stabilizing in the new sigma 70 - 300 os. Get even sharper pic's or would the two stabilizers work against each other.

I would guess use one or the other but not both! As to which is better, who knows but labnut's review in another thread suggests the Pentax system is pretty effective.

The two systems would clash, so you have to choose one or the other.

Some say lens stabilisation works better than camera SR, and it has the advantage of stabilising the viewfinder image as well as the photograph. It does make the lens significantly more expensive and heavier, though.

Not all Sigma's OS lenses are available in Pentax versions, though I think some of the new ones are.
