I've just bought a Pentax K1,

A happy customer for new Pentax K1 - FF camera - just bought it yesterday - it is like going back to Asahi Pentax Spotmatic during late 1970.

Anyway, in addition to my new Pentax K1, got Pentax battery grip and 28-105mm lens.

Next things on my shopping list;
Remote control
Yongnou YN660 (inc transmitter) and YN586 with P-TTL. (I have got several Yongnou flashguns and trigger from my previous Canon day)
Tamron 70-200mm f2.8

I know it is not a Pentax but it is what within in my budget but will definitely buy Pentax products shortly.

Any feedback for
Yongnou YN-586 P-TTL for Pentax,
Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 for Pentax

Thanks

Paul

Welcome to the forums. Another Irix fan here. Love the 15mm and can't wait for the 11mm to come out in Pentax mount. Looking forward to seeing your photographs!

Good luck and enjoyment with your new purchase. I may be wrong but those Yongnuo flashes are not yet made in a P-TTL version...

It includes a special system to compensate for having a sensor with very poor dynamic range

More likely they jettisoned the stuff that keeps moving subjects in focus on the Pentax version.

Hello and welcome 😀

The Tamron 70 - 200mm is a cracking lens, however, i have only used it on my k5 / spec

My Flickr page has some images from it if you would like to take a look link
