I'm new to Pentax

Hi all. I've only recently come across this forum when researching what camera to buy.

I've just ordered the K5 twin kit after spending the last couple of weeks mulling over which brand to go with. I was looking at the D7000 and 60D as well as the K5. The K5 ticked more boxes for me.

I was looking at the K7 a couple of years ago when it was being released but didn't go for it back then. Went with a point and shoot instead and then I got a nikon d90 which I've just sold and so upgrading to the K5.

I am a novice who wants to improve. Hoping to get one or two primes when the budget allows and also a 70-200 2.8 and a flash gun.

Really looking forward to getting the K5 and hopefully learning from the Pentaxuser community and eventually contributing when I can.

I have no specific type of subject I photograph. I'll try shoot anything.
